Personal Development
Many people have the inaccurate idea that self help, self improvement, and personal development content is all for people who lack confidence and basic success skills. While such folks will obviously benefit from a good personal improvement presentation, the fact is self development is for everyone.
The biggest consumers of self help information and instruction are the world’s wealthiest, happiest, and most successful people!
It’s true. Most millionaires take the time to read at least one book per month, and many of the icons in the business world admit to playing audio courses every time they get into their car. The FACT is personal development is for winners.
Society’s notion that people who buy personal improvement books are somehow weakly and timid is the typical rubbish paradigm of our mainstream world. Indeed if everyone took responsibility for learning who they truly are, deciding to be their own personal best, and continuously striving for positive transformation all the “problems” plaguing the planet today would soon vanish.
I commend you for making it to this site. And I welcome you with open arms to return often and take part in our conversations.
An active passion for personal improvement has changed my life in ways I once never imagined possible. Many years ago I lived in a 1986 Toyota Camry and spent my days stealing beer and drinking away my sorrows. Today I live the bliss of working from home, doing what I love most (blogging and writing), and becoming a better version of myself with each passing day.
Life can and should be moment-to-moment bliss.
There will always be struggle and disappointment. Heck, sometimes I say and do things that are outright stupid and highly detrimental to my ideal vision; but such incidents are quite rare these days.
We are all human, meaning we’ll always mess up and fall short, and we may even completely shock ourselves with an outburst that totally sabotages what we claim we want. This is normal, and the most successful people you know still make these mistakes I assure you.
The difference is, for a man or woman who is on the path to deliberate excellence, such embarrassing backslides are an opportunity to learn and improve.
